GRIZZLY ENCOUNTER

Add to Cart
2010 was a poor food year for grizzlies with numerous food sources including winter-killed ungulates, spring forage, berries, and whitebark pine nuts available at levels much lower than average. During years of low whitebark pine nut production, grizzlies may seek out alternative food sources at lower elevations which could lead to more frequent human-grizzly encounters.
