Yearling grizzlies usually weigh between 125 and 150 pounds, but this tiny yearling doesn't appear to weigh more than 100 pounds. The small size of this cub is most likely due in part to the size of her mother, as well as, recent emergence from their den where they may lose up to 40% of their body weight during hibernation.
