SEASON OF PLENTY

Add to Cart
Bull elk spend most of the summer months feeding in the lush green meadows of Yellowstone. During this time, the bull may consume up to twenty pounds of forage per day in preparation for the autumn rut. Once the rut commences, the bull has little interest in food and loses most of the weight he has gained during summer; often 100-200 pounds.
