The male grizzly, known as "Circus Bear" prowls the shore of Yellowstone Lake in search of a mate. This big boar was born in 1999 and was one of the first offspring of the grizzly sow, Blaze. Circus Bear was named for the playful behavior he exhibited during his younger years and although he's now a bit more serious, you can still sometimes catch him rolling around on the lake shore or taking a dip in the lake, just like he did when he was a cub.
